Chris Roe

Composer

Chris has recently completed a Masters at the Royal College of Music graduating with the Adrian Craft Composition Award.

Last summer he won the International Antonin Dvorak Composition Competition, resulting in a commissioned work to be performed in Prague. He has recently been awarded second prize in the International Lutoslawski Composition Competition for his orchestral work Lavoisier’s Mirrors. A diverse range of recent projects include work as the MD for Je T’Aimey cabaret, a chamber opera produced in association with Tete a Tete and work on 51.prod’s latest film that has been shortlisted for the Cinesonika Festival’s ‘Golden Earwax Award’.
